Hallie Frances (Enos) Raybeck was born on October 27, 1882 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania United States to Samuel A. Enos and Ida L. Rhoads, and had siblings LLoyd Austin Enos, Ross Domer Enos, Simon Hershel Enos, Sadie Mae Enos, and Johnathan Enos. She married Samuel C. Raybeck, and died at age 71 years old on September 25, 1954. Hallie Raybeck was buried on December 28, 1954 in Addison.

In 1882, in the year that Hallie Frances Enos was born, on January 5th, writer and lawyer Charles J. Guiteau was found guilty of the assassination of President Garfield. Guiteau was "offended" because his job applications had been rejected by Garfield's government. He was sentenced to death -although his lawyer plead insanity - and hanged five months later, on June 30th.

In 1901, at the age of 19 years old, Hallie was alive when shortly after beginning his second term, President McKinley was assassinated by the self proclaimed anarchist Leon Czolgosz. The last President to have served in the Civil War - he began as a private and ended the war as a brevet major - McKinley was a Republican. First elected in 1896, he was re-elected in 1900. Six months after the swearing in, McKinley was shot - and died of the gangrene that set in as a result.
