(Cottingham) Sherman, and had siblings Garland Sherman, Cloie Sherman, Melvin Sherman, Audra Sherman, Uriel Sherman, Pauline Sherman, Johnnie Sherman, Marcus Sherman, and Thomas Sherman. Grannon Sherman died at age 13 years old in 1931.
