Her job was her home and children. She was a great mother, grand-mother and friend. She was kind, loving and forgiving of those that even hurt her. She was strong and dedicated to her family. She was often called Teet or sweet, short for sweetie. She will be forever missed. She mentioned to me once that her mother passed while family was with her. She hoped to go the same way. That year, Mother Neff park was closed and our usual family reunion there could not take place, Grannie J being unable to travel, we all decided to go to her home for the reunion. She was up walking and talking that morning. That afternoon, she was feeling unwell and laid down. She passed quietly late in the afternoon.
