Grandma's parents came over from Sweden. She was born in Minnesota, I think I remember hearing Slayton but I'm not positive. I know the family farm was there.

I know Grandma grew up on the farm outside of Slayton. I remember her telling me about she and her siblings picking rocks out of the field as kids. My Uncle Hilmer lived on the farm for many years. After Grandma met Grandpa at some point they moved to Ida Grove, Iowa. That's the only place I remember them ever living.
