Giacchino married Francesca Geraci and they had a son, Salvatore (1951 - 2008) and a daughter, Marianna. Giacchino and Francesca were married for 59 years, until he died. I knew Gene as a baby in New Orleans.Gene dated my sister Delores while he was in the Navy while stationed in New Orleans as a fighter Pilot. He was loved by my family.
