    Gerald John Blore was born on August 3rd, 1903 in Erie County, Pennsylvania to Bernon Franklin Blore (1871 - 1917) and Anna Ellen Keefe (1872 - 1949) and he had one brother, Leo Bertrum Blore (1901 - 1958). Gerald Blore married Mildred I Blore (1907 - 1996) in about 1927 and they had two sons, Charles "Carl" (1930 - 2015) and Raymond. On his February 1942 World War II draft card, Gerald described himself as being 38 years old, as being five feet nine inches tall and as weighing 180 pounds. He had brown eyes, black hair, and a "dark" complexion.
