    He was truly an amazing man. One of a kind type of person that you only get to meet or know once in a lifetime, if you’re lucky. The best Uncle a girl could ask for. Most of all he was a kind hearted soul who always put others before himself. Taken away too soon but never forgotten.

Taking 5 years to build, the 4,200-foot-long suspension bridge was an engineering marvel of its time - 11 men died during construction.
