George Davidson Joseph Murphy of Prahran, City of Stonnington County, VIC Australia was born on April 1, 1880 in Woods Point to William James Murphy and Sarah Jane (Harrison) Murphy. He had siblings Mary Jane "Fanny" Murphy, Letitia Isabella Murphy, Sarah Elizabeth (Murphy) Corrigan, James Paden Murphy, John Harrison Murphy, and Denis Patrick Murphy. George Murphy died at age 53 years old on September 1, 1933 in Prahran.
