Attached is a photo taken around 1910 of my great great grandfather, Jeptha Marion Hawkins, his second wife and their seven children. Jeptha's grandson and son of Cager Hawkins, Junior sent me the photo.

Jeptha was married twice. His first marriage ended with the death of his

George Washington Hawkins was born February 12, 1886 and died October 28, 1889 to William David Hawkins and Mary Anderson.
William David Hawkins, born Jan 13 1837- died April 7 l909. He is the brother to Jeptha, Andrew and Henry Hezekiah “H.H.”. 1ST wife was Amanda Russell, 2nd and last wife, Mary M. Anderson-Hawkins. Prominent landowner and merchant and the founder of Hawkinstown, later incorporated 15 Aug 1904 as McCaysville, Georgia, wherein he served as one of the first city councilmen.
W.D. (1837) is buried with his wife Mary and their infant son, George Washington Hawkins in the Anderson Family Cemetery, Mineral Bluff, Fannin County, Georgia.
