I am the daughter-in-law of Adeline and James Smith Sr. of NYC and Marlboro, NY. Don't know the story, but heard that these folks helped to get US Citizenship for George. He worked for the Rossoff Farm where my in-laws resided. I have some original papers, a small Army photo and a newspaper article about George.
