Teresa Dufoo didn´t die during labor, perhaps a few months later. Their son died in labor or shortly thereafter. She had a weak heart and died of heart failure. I remember that she had a sister named Consuelo and she was married to Eddie Ness.

My daughter Christine told me about this website and it was interesting to know that George Dufoo was born in Mexico like my father´s first wife. Even though Teresa Dufoo was his first wife that I never met because she died a few years before I was born, I appreciated her because I knew she was a very kind woman and was a blessing to my dad. He would share with me how considerate and caring she was with him. Teresa Dufoo had two nephews perhaps more, but two that he spoke about. He seemed to be involved with helping them not sure in what way, but one became an officer in the USA military. He referred to one of them as

I was recently given my grandfather's (Taurino Sotelo) family tree. He lived in LA in the early 1900's and his first wife was "Teresa Dufoo." I heard she died during labor of their first-born child. My great-uncle Dimas was an actor and a casting director. The whole family worked in the movie industry. I just wanted to honor his first wife and my mother named one of my sisters after her name.
