Geoffrey's partner was Maria Isabell Lobaton-Donayre on November 2, 2002 in Callao Region Peru. They had a child Gerard Pablo Martin Heitzler.

Geoff graduated from Bourbon High School in 1978. Enlisted in the US Navy on July 04, 1979, and Honorably discharged on December 18, 1988. He has two sons Gregory James Heitzler 24 and Gerard Pablo Heitzler 13. Married his second wife Maria I Lobaton-Heitzler in Lima Peru November 2002 to Present.
