Fred Burgrabe 1905 - 1976

Fred Burgrabe of Paxton, Ford County, Illinois was born on January 3, 1905, and had siblings Charlie Burgrabe, William Burgrabe, Clarence Burgrabe, and Josephine (Burgrabe) Coudret. He was the parent of Pamela Celeste Womack. He married Celeste Elizabeth (Schiele) Burgrabe on June 1924 in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana United States, and they were married until Fred's death in January 1976 at Mercy Hospital in United States. They had children Rosemary Veronica (Burgrabe) Nagy, Frederick Wiliam Burgrabe, and Donald Ray Burgrabe.

Fred Burgrabe saved my life. He met my mother, his daughter, at the doorstep of an abortionist in Danville and offered to raise e i she and my father, Capt.John Neal didn'.t go thru with it. They agreed and he was the best faher any kid could ever have. He taught me about baseball,his greatest love, an d how to plant and grow a garden. He taught me to be brave and kind. I still miss him.
