Frank Lees 1882 - 1914

Frank Lees was born in 1882 to Esther (Moorman) Lees and Alfred Lees, and had a sister Marjorie Lees. He married Leah (Jones) Leese, and they were married until death separated them. He had children William Leese, Francis Lees, John Lees, Joseph R. Leese, Frank Leese, and Chester Leese. Frank Lees died at age 31 years old on June 15, 1914 at Minooka in Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania United States.

Guiteau was "offended" because his job applications had been rejected by Garfield's government. He was sentenced to death -although his lawyer plead insanity - and hanged five months later, on June 30th.
