Frances Ivy Nason was born on December 29, 1892 in Canaan, Somerset County, Maine United States to Katherine Olive Harris and Arvell Manser Nason, and had siblings Clyde Jeremiah Nason, Shirley Carpenter Nason, Grover Cleveland Nason, Nancy Pearl Nason, Margaret M. Nason, and Katherine Harris Nason. She married Earl Dunlap Brackett, and had children Doris Catherine Brackett and Charleen F. Brackett. Frances Nason died at age 78 years old on May 11, 1971 in Waterville, Kennebec County, and was buried at Townhouse Hill Cemetery in Clinton.
