    Loved working jigsaw puzzles! Played the piano beautifully! Lost her right leg to diabetes, and suffered during her final years with Alzheimer’s. She had 9 children, James, Harold, Clarence, Donald, Larry, Irene, Betty, Margret and B.J. who died in infancy. All children born to her and Carlia Samuel Pruette had the spelling of their last names changed to Pruitt at their births, it is believed to have been a mistake made by the county registry's office when record of their births were filed.
