Florence (Ardley) Rawet of Greensborough, VIC Australia was born in 1887 in Collingwood, City of Yarra County to John Charles Ardley and Grace Winsor Ardley. She had siblings May Ardley, George John Samuel Ardley, Mabel Ardley, Edgar Ardley, Ruth Ardley, Ada Ardley, Grace Elizabeth Ardley, and Ernest Ardley. She married William Edward Rawet, and had children Arthur William Rawet and Grace Ellen Rawet. Florence Rawet died at age 45 years old in 1932 in Greensborough.

Pearl Harbor is on the island of Oahu, a part of the Hawaiian Islands. The Navy was given direction to maintain "a coaling and repair station" at the harbor.
