Fanny Sarah (Tolliday) Carey of Ballarat East Australia was born in 1852 to John Curtiss Tolliday and Sarah Elizabeth (Miles) Tolliday. She had siblings Sarah Elizabeth Tolliday, Eva Tolliday, Albert Tolliday, Alfred Tolliday, William Curtis Tolliday, Charles Tolliday, Jane Eliza (Tolliday) Weir, Robert Porcher Tolliday, Ernest Montague Tolliday, and John Robert Tolliday. She married George Carey, and had children John Carey, George Carey, and James Carey. Fanny Carey died at age 36 years old in 1888 in Ballarat East.
