She had children Gaston Charles Goiran M., Louis Marie Leopold M., Emile Louis Eugene Goiran, and Madeleine Jeanne (Goiran) Coutanceau. Eugenie Sahy died at age 94 years old on September 22, 1962 at Kambermere Private Hospital in Camberwell, VIC Australia, and was buried on September 24, 1962 at Springvale Crematorium in Springvale, Greater Dandenong City County.

Stanton - who was opposed to Johnson's leniency towards the former Confederacy - the US House of Representatives voted (126 to 47) to impeach Andrew Johnson.
