Ethel Maude (Dolheguy) Hull of Ashburton, City of Boroondara County, VIC Australia was born on March 22, 1910 in North Melbourne, City of Melbourne County to Peter Dolheguy and Maude Margaret Kennedy. She had siblings Elsie May Dolheguy, Herbert Stanley Dolheguy, Leslie Theodore Dolheguy, Vera Dolheguy, and William Arthur Victor Dolheguy. She married Leslie Thomas Hull in 1936, and had a child Donald Thomas Hull. Ethel Hull died at age 51 years old in 1961 in Ashburton, City of Boroondara County.

Edgar Hoover, at the age of 29, was appointed the sixth director of the Bureau of Investigation by Calvin Coolidge (which later became the Federal Bureau of Investigation).
