    Esther Irene (Beichner) Gourley was born on February 5th, 1923 in Clarion, Pennsylvania to Austin Alexander Beichner (1897 - 1978) and Garnett Aretta Edmonds (1902 - 1960) and she had four siblings: two brothers, Austin and Edwin, and two sisters. Esther I Beichner married Andrew Harmon Gourley (1916 - 1995) in about 1938 and they had one son, Larry (1939 - 1988) and one daughter who died as an infant in 1940.
