Jabez was the son of Joseph Frost and Almira Frost aka Elmira Frost aka Amelia Frost. He was born in 1849 in Ohio, married Esther Ellen Root on 2 Oct 1871 in Athens Co, Ohio, and died on 10 Nov 1905. Jabez and Esther had four known children: Almira Mae who married William White, Joseph, Arthur, and Naomi. Jabez and Esther are buried in the Frost/Doan/Barrows Cemetery, Rome Twp, Athens Co, Ohio.
