Esther Anne (Berry) Lonsdale of Ganmain, NSW Australia was born in 1887 in Ballarat, City of Ballarat County, VIC to Martha Ann (Aylett) Berry and Alfred George Berry. She had siblings Frederick Bishop Berry, William Alfred Berry, George Ellis Berry, Lucy Jane (Berry) Willyan, Charles Thomas Berry, Martha Elizabeth "Doll" Berry, and Emily Matilda Berry. Esther Lonsdale married George Lonsdale in 1911, and died at age 87 years old on February 26, 1975 in Ganmain, NSW.

They were supposed to have been 15 inches wide and 8 inches thick. A rancher in the area said that they were “larger than milk pans”. A Wild West tall tale?
