She had siblings Thomas Johnson Peart and John Walton Peart. She married Charles John Goodman in 1892, and had children Hannah Elizabeth Goodman, Esther Etta Goodman, Meta Goodman, Charles John Goodman, and Alexander Sinclair Goodman. Esther Goodman died at age 73 years old on October 11, 1942 in Bairnsdale, East Gippsland Shire County.
