Ervin had moments when he could be very quiet and introspective and business savvy, but I mostly recall his laugh.

What was the cause of his death? I recall that he had scoliosis and often wondered throughout the years if he was able to overcome the condition with surgery. When I knew Ervin, he was a confirmed bachelor. I hope that he was able to find some measure of peace and happiness with a good woman in his latter years.
