    Elmer F. Palmer, 69, of 38 Monhagen Ave., Middletown, N.Y., died Tuesday in Ramapo Manor Nursing Home, Suffern, N.Y. Mr.Palmer was a resident of the area for most of his life and was born Nov. 30, 1908 in Walker Valley, N.Y.. He wasa retired custodian in the Middletown public schools. Survivors include his wife Rose Cushing Palmer at home; five sons, Elmer Jr. of Goshen, N.Y., Robert and Larry both of Middletown, N.Y., Donald of Pine Bush, N.Y. and Ronald of Greenville, N.Y.; five daughters, Patricia Talmadge of Westbrookville, N.Y., Helen Bloom of Goshen, N.Y., Beatrice DeGroat of Ostiville, N.Y., Suzanne of Monticello, N.Y., and Nancy of Middletown, N.Y.. Two stepbrother, Floyd DePuy of Ellenville, N.Y. and Benjamin Depuy of Kerhonkson, N.Y.; 23 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2p.m. Thursday in Ralston Funeral Home, Inc., 72 W. Main St., Middletown, N.Y. Visiting hours at the funeral home are 7-9p.m. today. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
