She had siblings Amy Philippa Harriman, Ben John Harriman, Clara May Harriman, Norman James Harriman, and George Henry Harriman. She married William John Duffy, and had a child Gwendoline Duffy. Ellen Harriman died at age 84 years old on June 18, 1944 in Singleton, NSW.
