Einar Bruseth died at age 77 years old on October 11, 1971 in Clarkston, Asotin County, Washington United States.

    Einer Buseth, 78, 401 Bridge St., Clarkston, died last night about 11:30 at Tri_State Memorial Hospital from a heart condition. He had been admitted earlier in the day. Bruseth was a retired railroad engineer who was born Oct. 9, 1893, in Norway. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carol Warner of Lewiston. Lewiston Tribune October 12, 1971 pg. 8 ===== Einer "Ed" Bruseth, 78, 401 Bridge St., Clarkston, who died Monday, was employed by the Northern Pacific Railway Co. He was a railroad engineer who had retired in 1966. Bruseth joined the company while at Spokane prior to moving here in 1926. The son of Ole and Ingeborg Bruseth, he was born Sept. 9, 1893, at Todalen, Norway. He came to this country when he was 15, settling in the Kendrick area. From there he moved to Spokane. He married Clara Liem on Oct. 18, 1918, at Coeur d'Alene. She died on June 7, 1958. During World War I he served with the Army in Europe and was wounded in France. He was a member of the Lewiston Elks Lodge, the Clarkston Moose Lodge and Clarkston Veterans of Foreign Wars. In March he would have been a life member of the Elks. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carol Warner, Lewiston; a son, Oliver Bruseth, New Orleans, La.; a sister, Mrs. Berit Huseby and a brother, Tore Bruseth, both in Norway; and three grandchildren.
