Eero was my step father from 1961 until his death in 1995. He and my mother (Eila Irja Haapiainen Mansikka Peltonen Parviainen) married in Finland and the three of us moved to Long Island, New York, USA. He told everyone he knew that he killed over 50 Russians during the war. He was a very eccentric alcoholic who painted large murals and made a bust of me.
