Uncle Ed

Ed Edie was my dad’s second brother. I am named after the third. Ed was a reporter at the Malvern Leader for many years. He wrote a memoir about their time during the depression and WWII, “Lingering Memories” which is touching and informative. Since we lived mostly in Washington state, we never saw Ed and his family much, but he wrote a good story and I am grateful to have read it.
