Edna James (Yeaman) Adams was born on March 1, 1886 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia United States to Eliza Ann (Richardson) Yeaman and Isaac James Yeaman, and had siblings John George Yeaman, Joseph Dameron Yeaman Sr., Martha Yeaman, Addie Jettie Yeaman, Hattie Amanda (Yeaman) Corbin, "Boss" Isaac Purofoy Yeaman, Ora Gustava (Yeaman) Braswell, Fitzhugh Lee Yeaman, Myrtle (Yeaman) Hudson, Mabel Clair Yeaman, Byron Olen Yeaman, Laila Virginia (Yeaman) Bartee, and Humphrey Jesse Yeaman. She married Matthew Eugene Adams on February 1, 1917 in Ringgold, Pittsylvania County, and they were married until Matthew's death on August 15, 1943 in Pasco, Franklin County, Washington. She had a child Blanche Edna Adams King. Edna Adams died at age 86 years old on June 10, 1972 in Moscow, Latah County, ID, and was buried on June 14, 1972 at City View Cemetery 1300 N Oregon Ave, in Pasco, Franklin County, WA.

    County Native Funeral Today In Washington Mrs. Edna Yeaman Adams, a Pittsylvania County native, will be buried today in Pasco, Wash. She died last week in Moscow, Idaho. Born March 1, 1886, in Ringgold she was a daughter of the late Isaac James Yeaman and Eliza Ann Richardson Yeaman. Her husband, the late Matthew Eugene Adams, was a pioneer homesteader in the state of Washington and the pair had resided there following their marriage in Danville on Feb. 1, 1917. Mrs. Adams was a school teacher in Pittsylvania County from 1904 until 1917. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Blanche King of Pullman, Wash.; One brother, H Jesse Yeaman of the Danville area; three sisters, Mrs. Ora Y. Braswell, Mrs. J. Austin Bartee, both of the Danville area, and Mrs. W. J. Hudson of Roanoke. She is also survived by two grandsons.
