Edith Louisa (Stacey) Long of Fitzroy Australia was born in 1885 in Fitzroy to Mary Thurlby (Lancaster) Stacey and Henry Evan "Harry" Stacey. She had siblings Alice Lavina (Stacey) Bennell, Minnie Thurlby (Stacey) Leslie, Louisa Edith Gore, Ethel Elizabeth (Stacey) Dight, Jessie (Stacey) Wakeum, Theodore Lancaster Stacey, Henry Stacey, and Charles Roy Stacey. She married Frederick Robert Long in 1908, and had a child Thelma Edith Long. Edith Long died at age 96 years old on August 27, 1982 in Victoria, and was buried Melbourne General Cemetery Cremated at Fawkner.
