It was indeed. "The Townsend Club", off the park downtown. And the warren of rooms in the back. You could sure find trouble. A story was that he had had to flee (with a few girls) most of the towns in Wyoming, and a couple of the national parks. When he died, his coffin was carried by 4 Rock Springs city councilmen.
