They had siblings Violet Pattie (May), Charles John May, Edith Mella Loe (May), Henrietta Mella May, Mella May, and William Joseph May. They married Annie Eileen May (Warren), and died at age 77 years old on June 6, 1984 in Footscray. Dunscombe May was buried on June 8, 1984 at Altona Memorial Park 14 Dohertys Rd, in Laverton North, VIC.

(Women in Australia and New Zealand already had that right but couldn't run for office.) Although Finland belonged to the Russian Empire, there was great unrest and the Tsar wanted to broker a quick peace. As a part of the brokered peace, women got the vote.
