    daughter of Campbell English Tucker and wife, Mary Ann Shely. She married Orville Roscoe Barker abt 1933 in Del Rio, Val Verde County, Texas. When her father, Campbell E. Tucker died in Texas State Prison in 1891, her mother Mary Ann Shely Tucker remarried to Wade H. Wilson at Kinney County, Texas and Dosia lived with them until she was about 40 years of age. when she married Orville Roscoe Barker.. her only child, Roscoe Barker was born about 1929.

In 1922, at the age of 33 years old, Dosia was alive when on November 4th, British Egyptologists George Carnarvon and Howard Carter unearthed the first step leading to King Tutankhamen's tomb in the Valley of the Kings. By the end of the month they had unearthed the steps and broken through the door into the intact tomb. This was the only tomb that had remained unlooted that had been found (and is, to date). Filled with gold, jewels, and ancient everyday items, the find was priceless - in terms of money and history.
