Together the couple had children Joan Lynn (Shoemaker) Sullivent (1941-2017), Orin Michael "Mike" Shoemaker, Neal Patrick Shoemaker, Robyn (Shoemaker), Stephen Fay Shoemaker, Diane Louise (Shoemaker), and Lisa Delores (Shoemaker) Vltava. After marrying Orin the couple moved to Long Beach, Los Angeles, California, USA in the 1950's. She also married Michael J. Legenzoff (1909-1998).
