Misspellings on birth certificate handwritten by house-visiting local doctor contribute to name confusion. Known officially as Dorothy Lois Reddish; named on birth certificate as Dorothea Louise Reddish. First married to a Manning at age 15 with one resulting child before husband abandoned. (Reference needed to be fair; possibly died rather than abandoned.) Remarried to Paul Wood, three resulting children including one stillborn. Husband died to heart attack; one living child remaining. Married later to Paul Vernon Lail.
