Doris Rita (Rossoff) Pogue was born on May 15th, 1929 in New York to Barnett M. Rossoff, born 1890, and Minnie Bartner (1897 - 1993), She had one brother, Arthur L. Rossoff (1922 - 2007). Doris Rossoff married Robert Pogue and they had two children: one son, Michael, and one daughter, Marilyn. Doris and Robert were married for 47 years when Doris died. POGUE - Doris (nee Rossoff), 78, formerly of Malverne, New York, passed away on September 20, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada after a short illness. Doris is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Robert, children Michael (Bakersfield, California) and Marilyn Corona (Massapequa Park, New York) and grandchildren Christopher, TJ and Danny Doris was the loving daughter of the late Barnett and Minnie Rossoff and sister to the late Arthur Rossoff. You will be forever in our hearts. Family services to be arranged. - Newsday (Nassau Edition, Hempstead, New York) Friday, September 28, 2007 on page 61.
