Doris Mae (Smolensky) Ackerman was born on August 18, 1929 in Passaic, Passaic County, New Jersey United States to Adolph Lawrence Smolensky and Catherine Camille Smolensky. She married Andrew Francis Ackerman on October 21, 1950 in Passaic, Passaic County, and they were married until Andrew's death on February 16, 1983 in Wayne. She had children Karen Anne Malizia and Glenn Steven Ackerman. Doris Ackerman died at age 93 years old on July 3, 2023 in Fleetwood, Berks County, PA.
