D E Shidler was born on March 14, 1967 to Donnis LeRoy Shidler and Paula Kay (Kinney) Shidler, and had siblings Marti Ellen (Shidler) Eunice, Jason Lee Shidler, and Nikki Lynn Shidler. He married Nancy Sue (McGovern) Shidler, and they were married until D's death in February 1990. D Shidler had children Donnis Eric Shidler 2nd, Erica Lynn (Shidler) Tingley, Bobbie Kay Shidler, and James Charles Shidler.
