He had siblings Larry Gene Duke, Billy Jack Duke, Edgar Wayne Duke, Bobby Joe Duke Sr, Claude Allen Duke, Alice Janette (Duke) Mears, Linda Sue (Duke) Howard, and Lesa Ann Duke. Donald Duke died at age 80 years old on May 25, 2014 in Dallas, Dallas County, and was buried in 2013 at Lincoln Funeral Home and Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Grove.

Donald was born in 1933 to Mary & J.H. Duke. He was their first child of the 8 more to follow him. I'm the 9th of their children and Donald was 25 years older than me. By the time I was born he had children of his own.
