    DAVID W. LORD August 14, 1943 - December 8, 2000 David Walter Lord, 57, of Modesto died December 8 at his home. Mr. Lord was a native of Lake Wales, Florida. He liven in Modesto two years after living in San Mateo County for many years. He was a retired airline mechanic of 27 years for United Airlines. He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran. He is survived by his wife, Roseanne Lord of Lodi; a son, Daniel Lord of Texas; brothers Thomas Lord and William Lord both of Jacksonville, Fla.; and one grandchild. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella. Eaton Family Funeral & Cremation Service, Modesto, in charge of arrangements. The Modesto Bee (Modesto, California) Saturday, December 16, 2000 on page 26.
