Daniel McAfoose was born in 1803 to Eva Elizabeth Schrecengost and Jacob McAfoose and Jacob McAfoose Sr, and had siblings John Daniel McAfoose, Margaret McAfoose, Jacob McAfoose Jr, Mary McAfoose, David McAfoose, Elizabeth McAfoose, and Simon McAfoose. He was in a relationship with Catharine Rivers McAfoose, and had children Jacob R. McAfoose, Mary Ida (McAfoose) Whitaker, Lavina (McAfoose) Hawk, Eva McAfoose Whitaker, and Mary Belle (McAfoose) Schrecengost. Daniel McAfoose died at age 65 years old on October 1, 1869, and was buried at Rupp Lutheran Church Cemetery 288 Rupp Church Road, in Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania United States.
