She had siblings Ruberta May Holloway, Sabra Holloway, Ethel Eliza Ann Holloway, Edgar William James Holloway, Reginald John Holloway, George Valentine Gordon Holloway, and Ernest Harold Holloway. She married Robert Henry Alsop in 1910, and had children Reginald John Frederick Alsop, Ethel Lilian Alsop, Colin Alexander Alsop, Vera May Alsop, Doris Myrtle Alsop, and Elsie Irene Alsop. Daisy Alsop died at age 40 years old on October 26, 1931 in Geelong, Greater Geelong City County.

She, along with Elizabeth Cady Stanton, founded the National American Woman Suffrage Association which later became the League of Women Voters. She died at the age of 86 of heart failure and pneumonia in her home in New York.
