Introduction

Crystal Anne Snoddy's father was Johnnie Snoddy and her mother was Ruth Anne Sutton. Crystal's husband, Daniel J. Nagle, was a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice at the McConnell Unit in Beeville. While Daniel was working as a prison guard, he was stabbed multiple times by an inmate (see Shades of Gray) At first, although dozens of inmates witnessed the incident, no one would identify the perpetrator.
