Constance Amelia Monica Doyle was born on March 4, 1868 in Edinburgh, Edinburgh County, Scotland United Kingdom to Charles Altamont Doyle and Mary Josephine (Foley) Doyle, and had siblings Arthur Ignatius Conan-Doyle, Annette Mary Frances Conan Doyle, Katherine Amelia Angela Doyle, Mary Helena Monica Henrietta Doyle, Caroline Mary Burton Doyle, John Francis Innes Hay Doyle, Jane Adelaide Rose Doyle, and Bryan Mary Julia Josephine Doyle. She married Ernest Hornung on September 27, 1893, and they were married until Ernest's death on March 22, 1921. She had a child Arthur Oscar Hornung. Constance Doyle died at age 56 years old on June 8, 1924 in Bromley, Greater London County, England.

It ended with the arrival of the convict ship Hougoumont in Western Australia. The trip took 89 days and there were 62 Fenians - people fighting for a free Ireland - among the transportees.
