Wedded Couple Will Reside in Anderson; Ritesheld Yesterday

WESTMINSTER, Feb 27. - Characterized by beauty and simplicity was the marriage of Miss Clara Pell Miller to Mr. G. Hoffmeyer Stewart of Florence, which took place at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude M. Miller, on Saturday, February 27, at high noon.
In the presence of the bride's immediate family, the Rev. R. A. Huskey, pastor of the bride, officiated, using the ring ceremony. The bride, was strikingly attired in a navy wool suit with corresponding accessories. She wore a beautiful corsage of orchids and valley lilies. Following a short wedding trip, the young couple will be at home at the Linley apartment, 903 North Main street, Anderson.
Mrs. Stewart, possess an attracting personality. After graduating from Westminster high school, she attended a business college in Atlanta, Ga. Since then, she has held positions in Auburn, Ala., and in Charleston. Actively identified with the local Girl Scout movement, she has, for the past few weeks, been engaged in reorganizing the unit here, and planning, for it, a constructive program.
Mrs. Stewart's mother is the former Miss Minnie Mae Ivester, of Walhalla, and her maternal grandmother was the late Miss Clara Pell, of Walhalla, for whom she is named.
Mr. Stewart is also prominently connected in the state. A native of Florence, he graduated at Clemson college in 1935. While there, he was first lieutenant, president of the A.S.A.E., and a member of the Alpha Zeta fraternity. Since graduation. he has been connected with extension service of Clemson college.
