Cicely (Major) Halton was born in 1878 to James Major and Elizabeth (Wilson) Major, and had siblings Elizabeth (Major) Symons Maunder, George Wilson Major, Mary (Major) Goddard, James Major, Ruth Major, and Sarah (Major) Hodges. She married John Thomas Halton, and had children Violet Cicley Elizabeth (Halton) Phillips, Gladys May (Halton) Dorsett, Ethel (Halton) Anderson, and James Halton. Cicely Halton died at age 77 years old in July 1956 in Beaumaris, Bayside City County, VIC Australia, and was buried at Fawkner Memorial Park in Hadfield, Moreland City County.
