  • Obituary

    Christine Lynch passed away June 28, 2010. A private graveside service will be held. Mrs. Lynch was born in Moody, Texas, May 1, 1924, and lived in Waco most of her life. She was retired from the Katy Railroad and was a member of the Baptist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) for many years. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, George and Lillie McBride; brothers and sisters, Joe, Marshall, Lucille, Maurene, and Olyne. Mrs. Lynch is survived by her husband of 64 years, Dewey Lynch Jr.; one son, David Alan Lynch and his wife, Laura, of Alexandria, Va.; two granddaughters, Shannon Christine Lynch of Archdale, N.C. and Kelly Kathleen Lynch of Lubbock. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Lake Shore Village Nursing Home and Bluebonnet Hospice for their wonderful care and dedication to Mrs. Lynch during her illness.
