Introduction

Cheryl married Leonard (Lenny) E. Murrell on March 12th 2000 in Marion Indiana. She then married Casey Starsiak. Between the two marriages she has three children: Kaliegh (Kay) Nichole Murrell (from her first marriage to Lenny), and Thadeus (Tad) David Starsiak and Jessica (Jess) Starsiak with Casey. She divorced Casey and then she and Lenny remarried shortly before she died. Lenny is currently a contractor on Karen Laine's and Mina Starsiak Hawk's show "Good Bones". Cheryl recently has gathered internet attention due to HGTV's 'Good Bones' that follows mother-daughter duo Karen E. Laine (first wife of Casey Starsiak) and Mina Starsiak Hawk (daughter of Karen and Casey) as they renovate homes in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mina Starsiak Hawk's dad Casey and Karen Laine had three children in total before later divorcing. Casey then married Cheryl and they had Jess and Tad. Tad works with Karen and Mina on their jobs. Cheryl Ann Rake Starsiak Murrell 34, of Mooresville, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away November 20, 2005. She was born December 19, 1970 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She was the manager at Medical Office Outsources and was a member of Rock Of Ages Christian Center. Survivors include her children, Kaliegh Nichole Murrell, Thadeus David Starsiak and Jessica Starsiak, her parents, David H. and Dora J. Rake; her brothers and sisters, Kimberly Sturm, Jeffery and John Rake, Roberta Koons and Linda Pasko; her companion, Joseph Schmid and her friend, Leonard Murrell. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22 at G.H. Herrmann Madison Ave. Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave.
